Bags with Beauty

It is afternoon and cloudy with sound of thunder indicates its gonna rain. I love it. My son is sleeping and all the jobs done. Perfect time for writing. No music here. I can't work or thinking with the music on. For me, music is full of imaginations. Just hear its sound, I can imagine almost everything. If paying more attention to the lyrics, it will be much more imaginations coming up. Jumping on my mind. Someday, I hope I can make some songs. ^_^

So..we are suppose to talk about beauty, or bags? It seem different themes to talk to. But now my life is inside bags-atmosphere. Its a complicated story.

One day I took a walk with my husband on one of traditional market in Jakarta. On the search of nothing, we find one fabric store. At glance, we can see they selling jeans fabrics. Interesting on how much they cost, we ask and looked around. Surprisingly they also sell canvas. This kind of fabrics is the most fabric I've always looking for, since I love to paint. All this time, I only paint my imaginations on paper.

Oh, yes..I saw bookstores also provide this canvas plus-frame. But for me, its too expensive. Well, with the same rupiah to buy canvas at bookstore, I can have meters of canvas at this store. ^_^ Moreover, I've got colored-canvas too...  ^_^ And then the adventure begun... 

Since then, I learn how to paint on canvas. And then making things like punch, wallet and bags. Off course with painting on them. Alhamdulillah, few of my friends love it and that's the other new beginning. ^_^

Really wants to thanks to friends who entrust me to make bags or wallet for them. Especially Johana Hutabarat. Even though sometime we have different opinion (because we're totally different!), she gave me a confidence to move forward. She is a beauty editor and she is in love with pop art. Dare to try many different thing, especially at fashion. Without words she support me, even though she knew I don't have any fashion-background or living on that environment. She is adorable. :-)

We called her Baby.. ^_^

My favorite one is the latest one; painted wallet. Excited making it because I could play with colors by painted on it. Moreover, it is small, useful and beautiful.. ^_^

Now, I really want to continue whats I've start in crafting. But maybe not for this moment. Maybe after I've found my beauty.  ^_^

Books First

Pertama, kali ini saya akan mulai berkomitment untuk menulis tanpa mengedit. Karena tiap kali menulis dan membacanya lagi, perasaan tak percaya diri selalu muncul. Pikiran-pikiran negatif dan pesimistif menggoda untuk batal mendokumentasikan tulisan-tulisan itu. Bagaimana kalau temanya aneh, bahasanya tidak runtut, terlalu kaku, terlalu ke-barat-baratan, tidak sesuai EYD, tanda baca tak sesuai, membosankan, konyol, picisan, cengeng, sombong, kampungan, kurang panjang, kepanjangan...haduhhh... Sometime I just realize that I have problems with words..

Pagi ini, setelah semua pekerjaan rumah tuntas, saya ingin bercerita... Tetapi ijinkan saya bercerita dengan campuran bahasa Inggris. Dalam beberapa makna kalimat, kata-kata dalam bahasa Inggris lebih dekat mempresentasikan pikiran saya. Everybody speaks English nowadays, right?

Why I love books.
You are what you think, what you say, what you wear, what you see and what you read..
Don't you realize that books are very interesting? Interesting because it can consist of everything the world could bring. Science, story, adventures, pictures, ideas, dreams.. Sometime if Im carrying a book, I feel like I am carrying one part of the world in my hand. :-)

Books become my closest friend since my father bought me a books of wonderful stories around the world. The stories amazed me and fall in love to books since then. Unfortunately, I cant make any story to tell! It hard to write down the imaginations I always carry on my mind. Can anybody tell me, why I cant make any story?? Lately, I realize that my imaginations are hard to write down on words. But on colors and paintings, it reveal all.. ^_^

My favorite books are those which give me new perspective of life. Since I hard to understand my own circle of life, I begun to read about life and people. My favorite author is Paulo Coelho, since he always make a write about life in any shape, culture and gender. His whole story are amazing, but also his every single word is very meaningful for me. One of his book I've kept on my mine is The Winner Stand Alone. From the title you can guess the whole story. Its about a man who stands alone after all that he want is accomplish. For me, the point is, what all those achievements are for if you don't have anyone to share with...

But, my very..very..favorite book is Chocolat. Its already filmed with the same title and played by my very..very..favorite actor too...Jonny Deep. What a book..what a story..what an act...  ^_^
